Manzed is to audio like Spanish ham is to the culinary world. It’s betting heavily for state-of-the-art sound and audio quality. It’s a way of thinking, a way of doing things, a way to explore the inner aspect of any action taken, aiming always to reach the best results. It is love and affection to everything related to audio from dialogue recording to sound design, through to music production, audio post, live sound, sound technology and many others. It is this was has put us up on the map.

As tech is becoming more and more part of our lives and more intrinsically in the Audio field, Manzed Audio is half human half machine(s). I’m Juan Martinez, Spanish MSc Audio Production postgraduate awarded with distinction at the University of Salford (Manchester, UK). I moved to the UK 11 years ago after obtaining my 5-year degree in Audiovisual Communication willing to improve my skills within the Audio field. Where best to go than Great Britain, cradle of the sound engineering and audio-related studies in Europe? Therefore, after a year working, thinking and wondering in my hometown of Sevilla (Spain), decided to pack myself up and make the move to Scotland.

I consider myself an enthusiastic human being who enjoys living his life, studies what he likes and tries his best at everything he does. Also, I try to be a good friend of my friends, easy going with colleagues, very focused and serious while working but always have time for a laugh or a joke.

Me and my other halves (the machines) have created this blog to share all kind of ideas, comments, projects, thoughts, subjects and opinions. Here we can discuss all things audio and other stuff, I’m open to suggestions.

Hope you enjoy it!

Juan
